Installation
Install SessionCourier from the Chrome Web Store and understand exactly which permissions it asks for — and which it deliberately doesn't.
Install from the Chrome Web Store
SessionCourier is published on the Chrome Web Store — free, ad-free, and usable without an account.
- Open the SessionCourier listing.
- Click Add to Chrome and confirm the permission prompt.
- Pin SessionCourier to your toolbar (puzzle-piece icon → pin) so the popup is one click away.
Works on Chrome and other Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave, Vivaldi) that support Manifest V3 extensions.
What the permission prompt means
SessionCourier requests five permissions — the minimum set a cookie manager can function with. None of them shows a host-access warning:

storage | Persist your settings (like your language choice) locally |
activeTab | Know which site the current tab shows, to display its cookies |
scripting | Read and write the current tab’s localStorage, on your explicit action — what that means exactly |
sidePanel | Show the UI as a side panel instead of a popup |
Access to specific sites beyond the active tab is requested optionally and on demand — you grant it per host, and you can revoke it at any time under chrome://extensions. See the permissions reference for the full breakdown, including what SessionCourier deliberately does not request.
SessionCourier makes no network requests of its own, shows no ads, and sends no telemetry unless you explicitly opt in. Details: telemetry documentation.
